Khepri Multi-tool
The brief for this project asked for an elevated package and new creative use for a basic multi-tool. My design solution drew inspiration from Egyptian culture and archeology.
Khepri is a god in the ancient Egyptian religion. Khepri was principally depicted in hieroglyphics as a scarab beetle. The Egyptian scarab became the main inspiration for my branding while the architecture and culture influenced the packaging design and shape. The beetle's form influenced the way that the multi tool itself was openly displayed in the vacuum formed plastic.
